Type A Booklet

Developing a guide once needed cutting and photocopying. An expert guide could be typed and printed using desktop posting software that gives templates, styles, graphics and page formats.


Instructions


1. A number of desktop posting software will come in stores and on the web. For instance, Microsoft Writer provides an array of templates for pamphlets, including graphics and specialized styles. Desktop posting programs for example PagePlus have most of the same features, and could be downloaded free of charge. Word processing programs also boast guide templates.


2. Type the written text in to the template where indicated, just like any word processing program. Format font, color and size the written text while using standard text formatting features. Effects does apply towards the typed text in the Effects menu.


3. Print the typed guide while using two-on the sides alternating page option within the printer configurations. The web pages are affixed or glued after printing to produce a finished guide.
